At our most recent all staff meeting, we watched the dvd of the "Key of G". This is a short documentatary about a young adult moving into his own supported living home. After the movie, we had a discussion based on our thoughts about the movie, using the Direct Support Professional Code of Ethics. Here is the summary of our discussion (click here). At our November 2006 all staff meeting, the leadership team facilitated a discussion about the dynamics of helping. The powerpoint presentation shared information about Imagine's values, and gave each of us the opportunity to complete several exercises and examine our own beliefs and feelings about giving and receiving help.
